The Pine Street Inn and The Community Builders are combining efforts to build a supportive housing complex in JP. The building will have green roof landscape amenities spread throughout the 5 stories with courtyards over structure and restorative garden spaces to ease the transition to community housing life. Streetscape elements comply with Complete Streets supporting the urban development in JP/Rox.

The landscape amenity spaces support the goals of the Community Builders and Pine Street Inn by providing an oasis in an urban context. Through planting and seating the upper courtyard spaces provide opportunities for both private restoration and community gatherings within a garden setting.

The street level plaza balances public realm with resident/staff amenities through the use of raised planters and fixed seating along the building face. These elements are visible and inviting from street level yet feel that they are part of the interior program spaces.
