A dedicated group of Brandeis alumni and friends have generously donated funds for a memorial space honoring the life and light of Barbra Barth Feldman, Brandeis Class of ’86. Centered in Ridgewood quad on the Waltham campus the design will provide a special space for students and friends to come together, relax, celebrate and connect. The form was inspired by the American Sign Language sign for friendship holding a special focal point in the center. The center element is an abstraction of a fire pit bringing color, light and focus to the space.
