The Alfred J. Gomes School in New Bedford, Massachusetts is in need of a facelift. Studio 2112 was hired to study the circulation, entry conditions and means of bringing joy to the entry of this K-5 school. We looked at ways to provide low cost improvements that will allow students and classes to engage their exterior spaces as outdoor classrooms and spaces for play. The study was completed in 2016.
